Bark vs Beak

This summer join us for two kitchen takeovers, that will really make you want to pop open the bubbles, yes that’s right, Bubbledogs is going to be mashing it up – Sandia and Chick ‘n’ Sours Founder Carl Clarke, will be swapping aprons for two kitchen takeovers, with Carl joining Sandia in the Bubbledogs kitchen first up, on Wednesday 19th July, followed by Sandia making an appearance in the Seven Dials Chick ‘n’ Sours kitchen on Wednesday 20th September.

Carl will be in residence for one night only at Bubbledogs with his menu to include, the Chengdu Chilli Dog, topped with Eastern promise in the form of kimcheese and white kimchi, and the Thai Dog with fermented som tum, Thai ranch sauce, and crispy crack noodles. The hot dogs will be in good company with perfectly matched sides including; Tenderstem broccoli, seaweed mayo, pickled egg and bonito flakes, Tater tots, Korean schmaltz, spring onion and sesame and, to finish with a bang, Smacked cucumber with explosive chilli.

And over at Seven Dials, Chick ‘n’ Sours, Sandia will be dishing up her take on two classic chicken dishes; Wings in a fiery chipotle maple glaze, and Cap’n Crunch tenders with honey mustard sauce, alongside Grilled Mexican street corn slaw, jalapeño popper wontons with ranch sauce and roasted onion dip with radish.

National Champagne & Hot Dog Month

So we love any chance to celebrate here at Bubbledogs, and we also love any chance to shout about fun, unusual and unique National Days! I mean, what would we all do without National Ketchup Day or National Tater Tot Day?

This month, we were spoilt for choice on what to celebrate, as on the 14th July it’s the French national holiday of Bastille Day and on the 19th July it’s National Hot Dog Day! With these dates in mind we thought, screw it! Lets create our own holiday and celebrate the homeland of Champagne and worship of the hot dog…

Introducing this months guest dog, from the renowned French chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud, who has restaurants in New York City, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Palm Beach, Miami, Montreal, Toronto, London, Singapore, and Boston – But is best known for Daniel, his eponymous, Michelin 2-star restaurant in New York City.

Throughout the month Sandia will be cracking open some pretty special grower Champagnes,  and starting Monday 10th July you can enjoy tasters of 4 of her favourites and the DBGB dog for just £20! Keep a look out on our social to be in the loop!
