Éric Rodez Producer Night

Champagne is in winemaker Éric Rodez’ blood, as an eighth-generation Champagne producer, whose family first started out in the Grand Cru of Ambonnay in 1797.

We couldn’t be happier that Éric will be joining us for the refurbished Bubbledogs’ first Producer Evening, from 6pm on Wednesday 26th June.

His work has included time as oenologist at Krug, and his work on biodynamic wines has seen him awarded the Haute Valeur Environnmentale certificate for efforts including the house’s move to treat mildew with aromatherapy. If all this wasn’t enough, he is also the Mayor of Ambonnay!

To celebrate his visit we will be serving each Champagne Rodez Cuvée by the glass plus offering special prices on bottles for one night only, with the man himself on-hand to tell you a little more about each wine. Do book early to avoid disappointment.


Welcome to the new Bubbledogs!

So, six years on from opening our doors, we have undergone a bit of a glow-up and our interiors have been transformed into a chic Champagne-drinking den. So, settle into one of our new dark purple booths and work your way through a hand-picked selection of France’s most famous fizz, by the neon light of a hot pink, flying dog.

Take a look around at our new, grown-up vibe, with an outstanding list of lesser-known Champagnes, produced by the region’s most acclaimed growers and curated by our very own Sandia Chang. Many are available by the glass, so you can explore as many wines as you fancy, to suit your own personal tastes.

If you really want to get into the nitty gritty of tasting though, or have a special occasion to plan, the new tasting table will be right up your alley, giving the opportunity to create bespoke tasting sessions.

We’re also continuing our tradition of outstanding bar snacks, with our selection of hot dogs, with internationally-inspired toppings. You’ll also find some new treats, including tater tots with crème fraîche and a 20g tin of caviar, plus a selection of cheeses.

As ever, all of our champagnes are available to take away, and you can even pre-order a case or two.

Goodbye Old, Hello New!

We have a big announcement to make, bubbledogs will be closing on Sunday 24th March for a little coming of age pamper session, and returning as a brand new Champagne bar and restaurant with a beautiful new design and an increased focus on hand-selected grower Champagne!

Introducing bubbledogs 2.0…

Sandia and the team are working closely with London-based designers Astridge to create a refined and modern wine bar, with deep purple and mustard tones highlighted by copper accenting. You can look forward to a new marble high-top table, seating up to eight guests, complete with its own built-in Champagne trough, ideal for immersive tastings, while the remainder of the seating will have a lounge-like feel with intimate low-level tables and banquettes – perfect for long afternoons and evenings exploring Sandia’s exquisite selection of Grower Champagnes, with an extended list of cuvées.

From the kitchen, comes a more refined food menu, still offering signature hot dogs with the wildly popular American sides to compliment Sandia’s list of Grower Champagnes BUT with a grown up philosophy. Highlights will include Comtè Tater Tots and Tater Tots served with caviar and crème fraiche – FANCY!
