Brunch P.A.R.T.Y

From Saturday 30th of July we are partnering with artisanal spirits company The 86 Co. to launch our Saturday brunch parties, complete with Bloody Marys, gourmet hot dogs and old-school Hip-Hop.

A brand new Bloody Mary menu will be introduced every two months, and first on the tins and spoons will be Matt Whiley who has created the Peg + Patriot Mary (£8.5) using Tequila Cabeza, a third generation Tequila from the mountainsides of Arandas with an earthy, sweet taste, distilled oyster shells, spiced sherry vinegar and smoky Scotch. Naren Young of Dante in NYC, a bar which has seen the likes of Al Pacino and Bob Dylan pass through it’s doors, will use Aylesbury Duck Vodka, a spicy, grainy spirit from the Western Rockies of Canada in his Dante Mary (£8.5), along with a house Bloody Mary mix of cold pressed tomato, carrot and red bell pepper juice, garnished with fennel salt and grated horseradish. Completing the line-up will be Dandelyan’s Mikey Ball, using London’s very own Fords Gin. Packing a floral punch with notes of citrus and juniper, the botanical spirit will be paired with dashi, kombu, pickles and chipotle (£8.5).

For the brunch food fix we of course will be serving our usual hot dogs and American sides, including the Breakie dog made with fried egg, tomato relish, crispy bacon and black pudding (£8) – Or why not just go for your all time fav dog and to make your day, we will give you the option to go sunny side up, with a free fried egg atop any dog.

No brunch party is complete without bubbles and Sandia’s curated list of grower Champagnes and sparkling wines from her 100-bin strong collection, including Bubbledogs’ signature sparkling rose will also be readily available, whilst an old school East Coast vs. West Coast Hip-Hop playlist will provide the soundtrack to the weekend. Resident Bar Manager, James Stevenson, will also be serving his own version of a mid morning snifter in the form of a Breakfast Daiquiri (£8.5) with The 86 Co.’s Caña Brava Rum, grilled grapefruit, rose and pink salt, alongside classic cocktails each weekend.

In celebration of Independence Day this month, we are flying our American flag high, and introducing the PB & J Guest Dog to the menu.

Modelled on the classic American peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the ‘PB & J’ created by our very own Sandia Chang, comprises of a gourmet hot dog topped with bacon jam and spiced peanuts, which can be washed down perfectly with a glass of grower Champagne or a cocktail from our new selection. If that doesn’t wet your appetite, do not forget our original classics including, Fourth of July Dog, the New Yorker and the Philly Cheez dog.

Sandia says: “Growing up in America, I lived on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I love the combination of sweet and salty alongside our grower champagnes and what better way to celebrate the very best of the USA, than with this all-time American favourite!”
